We’ve all had those days–the days when we feel that we are not pretty enough, smart enough, or cool enough. Maybe your family doesn’t accept you or maybe a friend just said such hurtful words. Or even in school, maybe you were bullied and rejected by your peers. Well, I hope you already know this and believe this: You are worth more than gold in the eyes of your Heavenly Father!
Unkind words can be painful but you don’t have to listen to them because the only thing that matters is what the God of the universe thinks about you. Other might reject you but your Heavenly Father accepts you just as you are!
I love Britt Nicole’s song, “Gold.” When I am feeling sad or discouraged, I turn up “Gold” loud on my iPod and I jam out to it. I try to soak the lyrics in and remember that I am loved and accepted by my Heavenly Father. We all need to remember that we are treasured by God.
Don’t let what others think or say get you down because you are loved by God and made for a special purpose!
So don’t let anybody tell you that you’re not loved.
And don’t let anybody tell you that you’re not enough.
Yeah, there are days when we all feel like we’re messed up.
But that truth is that we’re all diamonds in the rough.
If there is someone you know who is feeling depressed or discouraged, remind them that they are worth more than gold in the eyes of God!
You’re worth more than gold.
So hold your head up high,
It’s your time to shine.
From the inside out it shows,
You’re worth more than gold.
God sees our beauty when all we see is ugly. God sees our worth when we feel worthless. God accepts us when others reject us. We are worth more than gold!

Well said, girl!
Thanks!
Glad you liked it!!
I really relate to what you’re saying. I have dysthemia (chronic low-level depression), and it can really affect my thought patterns. I have to watch out for that on a daily basis.
Its always good to know we aren’t alone in our struggles! I struggle with negative thinking and when I replace it with positive thoughts, my day seems to go better. Thanks for stopping by and reading!
Sure! I am now working on making the time to pray/meditate…
