Last month my mom and I went to Color Me Mine for my birthday. We chose these adorable penguin banks to paint. We had so much fun, probably a little too much fun. I think we might have freaked the kids out around us. It was such a blessing to take time out of my busy school schedule and spend some quality time with my mom. We get so caught up with our busy lives that we sometimes forget to stop and enjoy the blessings of life. After we painted the penguins, it took a week for them to fire and finish the penguins, but it felt more like a lifetime (if I couldn’t wait for the penguins to be finished, I am not sure how a five-year-old would handle it…haha). Our adorable penguins came with scarfs, which makes them even cutier! Who knew we could have so much fun painting penguins!
